stand and fight

As I left the apartment to go work from the coffee shop this morning, a car pulled into the turn lane out front, and put its hazard lights on. A young dude angrily ran across the empty intersection and tore a “Make America great again” poster down off the street sign. He ripped the sign apart, got back into his car, anbd took off to complete his commute.

I don’t know who he was, or where he went. All I know is a fire of pride and gratitude was lit inside my heart as I witnessed this act, and it will continue to burn as long as there is breath in my body.

We, as free citizens of this country, have a moral obligation to fight against this new oppression fueled by homophobia, xenophobia, and a fear-mongering rhetoric spewed from a pulpit of ignorance.

We’ve got a tough road ahead of us, but I’m willing to stand and fight. Are you?

12: My Parents Have Never Lost An Episode

The Chicago Cubs don’t record a podcast, but even so, they’re probably better than us. To be honest, Brent’s parents don’t record a podcast either, and they are still better than we are. But enough about how bad we are at the thing we love!

007: Golden Brown Eye

Given that this is episode 007, it’s all about…. you guessed it, not James Bond! You think that we actually plan this stuff out!? Raindrops keep falling on my… you know what? I not gonna type-sing. But it is raining here in Minnesota, which is a welcome change to the snow we had few weeks ago.

This episode we talk about playing sports when we were little, and wanting to be cool little league coaches so we can ride scooters around. MINIMUM letters? President Brentlee delivers another State of the Wii-U and 3DS and we discuss games in general. Reid nerds out about the Wondercube, cellphones and MORE! “We gotcha eyes, on you! SUCKAS!”
